Anima asked me to make an exhibition for the Anima film festival in February 2024. A collaboration with the festival was on the top of my bucket list for a very long time. With a sci-fi theme at the festival I finally got my chance. I decided to make it in to a full retrospective exhibition of the last 12 years of robot building. The title became “Batteries Included“. Hundreds of people came to visit the robots in the beautiful Flagey building in Brussels, and Steve took the honor to present during the opening night.
